Sometimes leaders and teams know what the problem is—the right people don't talk to each other, organizational noise muddles the message, or operational tempo exceeds human capacity to listen, interpret, and act on information in a timely manner.Other times, they don't know which communication issues affect them most—but high turnover, costly mistakes, or performance issues indicate that something isn't working.I founded my consultancy to help leaders and teams get to the bottom of organizational challenges and develop tailored and evidence-based solutions to address them.My Background

Before establishing my practice, I worked in consulting, government, and academia where I applied my communication, strategy, and research skills to help leaders and teams solve problems.I developed communication materials to help public and private sector clients visualize their wins and understand their challenges. I organized events to facilitate communication between experts hoping to influence policy. I provided advice and options to clients and stakeholders in complex situations. And I designed and led countless studies where I used my skills to ask the right questions, gather data, analyze it with the right tools, and report it back using language that people can understand and use.This taught me a lot about what people assume communication is, and how we can use it to shape outcomes. Although we often limit communication to words and images, communication researchers also understand the importance of unspoken and unwritten ideas in shaping meaning and action.Communication teaches us that what is not said can sometimes be more revealing than what is said, and I'm skilled at reading between the lines to understand what's really happening and providing tailored advice to leaders and teams.My Expertise
